Fidya

Fidya

Fidya or Fidyah is a religious donation to help and support those in need. It is the compensation for losing a Salah or the days of a Fast, meaning that you have not been able to perform them. This may be due to a terminal or extreme illness. Whether they are young or old or unable to fast due to old age. In addition to those who need medication if their well-being may be affected.
Keeping these points in mind, if a person cannot make up for the missed fasts, then he will have to pay Fidya.

Atonement Charity

The amount of each missed Salah or Fast or each minor error in Hajj is to give 1.6 kg of wheat or its corresponding value to the poor. This is the same amount given for Sadaqatul-Fitr, which is currently  $5.5  per person.
If it is not possible to fast for the entire month of Ramadan, the total would be $135
