We are a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing education, reducing poverty, and alleviating the suffering of the most disadvantaged individuals in South America, without regard to their ethnicity, gender, or beliefs. Every single public donation we receive is channeled directly into our various projects. Not a single penny is used to cover administration costs unless specified by our donors.

How It Started

In March 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, a friend from the UK asked me a simple question via video call: ‘How can we help the poor in Ecuador?’ My response was equally simple: ‘With my time.’ This conversation sparked the idea of using our time to make a difference. Inspired by this, we founded the Raindrops Foundation, a charity that has since grown into a vibrant community of passionate individuals dedicated to empowering the less fortunate. We’ve seen how even the smallest donations can transform lives, and now, our charity has become a local movement of impactful leaders and entrepreneurs committed to fostering self-reliance and meaningful lives among the poor. Together, we’re making a real difference.

Khalid Mehmood

Khalid is dedicated to improving the well-being of Latin America, focusing his efforts on the Republic of Ecuador alongside his team of volunteers. In the relentless battle against poverty, he is channeling all his energy towards securing a dignified and sustainable existence for countless individuals living near the equator. Frequent visits to the remote human settlements of the Amazon jungle and other underprivileged regions enable him to swiftly address immediate necessities such as food and clean water. His ultimate objective is to create an equitable platform for survival, ensuring equal opportunities for all.
